Bueu is a small fishing village in the south of Galicia (Spain ) near the border with Portugal.
Bueu is Located in the heart of the Rias Baixas region, surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and green mountains, providing exceptional landscapes and views at the very edge of mainland Europe. The small village with just over 12.000 inhabitants offers some interesting sites such as the ‘Masso Museum’, the ‘Astillero de Purro’, the ‘Cela Church’ (XII century) and a lovely market place. Nearby you will find ‘Cabo Udra’ which belongs to the ‘National Parc of the Atlantic Islands’. Furthermore, you can also find numerous fantastic beaches, that wouldn’t look out of place in the Caribbean, a lot of them so called ‘Blue Flag’ beaches.
